Privacy Policy
TeeVance ("we") runs an early-access tee-time concierge for Dallas–Fort Worth at teevance.com. This policy says what we collect and what we do with it, in plain words.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (your sign-in identity), and optionally your name, phone, and postal code if you add them to your profile.
- Your requests: the courses, dates, windows, player counts, and priority tips you set.
- Connected course logins: if you connect a course booking account, the username and password are sealed with encryption the moment you submit them and stored only in that sealed form (see below).
- Standard technical data: country (from your network) and the referring page. We run no advertising trackers and set no tracking cookies.
- Anonymous usage counts: daily totals of page views and clicks, with no personal identifiers attached.
How we handle your course logins
- Connected logins are encrypted at rest and can be unsealed only with a key TeeVance holds separately. A login is unsealed only in the instant a person books a time you requested, in your own name.
- Every access is logged to your account - which login, when, and for which booking.
- You can revoke any connected login anytime from the portal; revocation stops all future use and removes the sealed record.
- We do not store your payment card; card details are handled by our processor (Stripe). We never store or process credentials for GolfNow via automation.
What we use it for
- To run your account, place your standing requests, and email you about them (confirmations, outbid/secured/missed notices, and your sign-in links).
- To book the tee times you request, using a connected login only as described above.
- To understand demand - which courses, windows, and prices DFW golfers want - reported in aggregate only.
Security & breach notice
We protect your data with encryption in transit, sealed-at-rest credential storage, access logging, and passwordless sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Texas law without unreasonable delay.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your connected logins for anything but booking what you asked for.
- We share data only with the providers that run the service - Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Resend (email), and Stripe (payments) - each processing it only on our instructions.
Where it lives, and for how long
Your account and sealed records are stored with Cloudflare in the United States. We keep them while your account is active; when you delete your account (or a connected login), the corresponding records - including the sealed credential - are removed.
Your choices
Email [email protected] from your signup address and we will send you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it entirely, normally within 14 days. Texas residents: this covers the access, correction, deletion, and portability rights in the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.
